Vacancy: Stable Employee & Coordinator

Stable Wolferen | 30 to 40 hours per week

Do you enjoy working with sport horses and do you also like to take extra responsibility? Then we have a great workplace for you! In this position you are the spider in the web of our great company.

At our professional private jumping stable with approximately 20 horses, you work in the middle of the sport. In addition to training and caring for the show jumping horses, we breed several foals every year, which grow up with us and are later trained to become show jumping horses, both nationally and internationally.

Within this position:

Do you give the horses exercise (lungeing, walking in hand)

Take care of our jumping horses and young rearing horses

You support our stable rider both at home and at competitions

Get the horses in/out of the pasture, paddock & walker

You make the work and weekly planning, also for colleagues

Plan and coordinate appointments with farrier & veterinarian and provide support during these appointments

You guide the mares during the breeding season

Maintain the harness

Shave & groom the horses

You work in the stable, where you perform all common tasks and feed the horses

You work closely with our stable rider and your colleagues

About you:

You have demonstrable experience with sport horses, young rearing or breeding

You can work independently, but you are also a real team player

You are flexible: participate at competitions and occasionally during the weekend

You have an affinity with show jumping and breeding and all daily associated activities

You have good communication skills and organizational talent, after all, the farrier is not supposed to be on the sidewalk when the horses are at a competition

You are available at least 30-40 hours a week and occasionally during the weekend.
