Tactical Buyer (32-40 hours)

1. In addition to ordering, monitoring and aftercare, the emphasis will often be on on implementing purchasing strategies for various product groups.
2. Maintaining and expanding relationships with suppliers and partners, both local and international.
3. Negotiating contracts, prices and delivery times to get the best conditions.
4. Analyzing purchasing data and identifying areas for improvement in the supply chain.
5. Implementing process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our purchasing processes.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, such as manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, to align purchasing needs and process optimizations

At Mustad Hoofcare we value your expertise and commitment. We would like to see the following competencies and experience in your profile:

1. Hbo working and thinking level, preferably with training in purchasing, supply chain management or a similar field (for example NEVI 1).
2. At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar purchasing position.
3. Experience with tactical and strategic purchasing processes, preferably within a production environment.
4. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
5. Affinity with process improvement and experience with project-based and results-oriented work is a plus.
6. Good analytical skills and a proactive attitude to identify and seize improvement opportunities.
7. Ambition to continue to grow in the field of Purchasing.
8. You are strong in communication.
9. Proficiency in the Dutch and English language, Spanish is an advantage.
