The Sleen Equestrian Center Foundation is looking for a Manager / Manager Riding School (Ft)

We are looking for an enterprising and committed manager/manager for our riding school (in the municipality of Coevorden, Drenthe), who will take on the daily management and wants to work with us to build the future of the company.

We are looking for someone with a passion for horses, an eye for quality and the ability to professionally manage and further develop a riding school.

In this position you will have a lot of responsibility and space to think about the growth and improvement of the company.

About the position:

As a manager/manager you are responsible for the overall business operations of the riding school.

You ensure that everything within the company is well organised: from horse care and grounds management to managing employees and contact with customers.

You are the central point of contact within the company and contribute to a professional, safe and hospitable environment for riders, boarding customers, visitors and employees.

In addition, as a company we want to focus on growth, quality and further improvement of our facilities and services. We are therefore looking for someone who wants to contribute ideas and play an active role.

Activities:

• Responsible for the daily operations of the riding school

• Management and maintenance of stables, grounds and materials

• Care and welfare of riding school and boarding horses

• Manage and guide employees and volunteers

• Point of contact for lesson customers, boarding customers and visitors

• Organization and management of the canteen

• Providing horse riding lessons for children and adults

• Thinking about development, growth and quality improvement of the company

Job requirements:

• ORUN level 3 instructor diploma

• In possession of BHV (or willing to obtain it)

• Driving license B

• Strong affinity with horses, people and equestrian sports

• Enterprising, responsible and organizationally strong

• Communicative skills and independent
