Logistics Team Leader

We are looking for a Logistics Team Leader for our warehouse in Zwolle who will manage the logistics process properly. You manage our logistics employees, keep an eye on the planning and ensure that everything in the warehouse is in the right place and runs smoothly.

You look beyond the daily activities and have an eye for the complete picture. Is the warehouse layout correct? Is the available space being used optimally? Are the activities logically divided and is the planning running as it should? You see where improvements are possible and take the initiative to implement them.

What are you going to do?

As a Logistics Team Leader you are responsible for the daily organization and management of the warehouse. You provide structure, overview and pleasant cooperation within the team. Your duties include:

1. Directing and guiding: you manage the logistics employees on a daily basis, divide the work and ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done.
2. Planning and overview: you monitor the daily planning, set priorities and ensure that the activities are connected efficiently.
3. Warehouse organization: you keep an overview of the layout of the warehouse and ensure that goods, workplaces and walking routes are organized logically and practically.
4. Process improvement: you identify bottlenecks and actively think about how processes can be organized smarter, clearer and more efficient.
5. Stock and goods flows: you keep track of the goods flows and stock and ensure that everything ends up in the right place.
6. Collaboration: you coordinate work with colleagues and ensure good communication within the team and with other departments.
7. Cooperate where necessary: ​​you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when the situation calls for it.

Who are you?

You are an organizationally strong and practical manager who likes to take responsibility. You like structure, think ahead and know how to bring people along in a positive way.

1. You have experience in logistics and preferably in managing employees.
2. You can plan, organize and set priorities well.
3. You have good spatial insight and see how a warehouse can be designed as efficiently as possible.
4. You are proactive and think in solutions and improvements.
5. You communicate clearly and know how to motivate and address colleagues where necessary.
6. You are practical, work accurately and maintain an overview, even when it is busy.
