Groom / Stable Employee Sports Stable – Dutch VIP Horses

For our professional sports stable we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated groom/stable employee, who enjoys working with horses and wants to be part of a driven team.

We work with sport horses every day and find good care, attention for the horse and a professional working method very important.

What are you going to do?

As a groom/stable employee you are responsible for the daily care of our horses. Your duties include:

1. Care and feeding of the horses
2. Keep stables and working environment neat and tidy (fattening stables is in principle done by others)
3. Preparing horses for training and exercise
4. Care before and after riding
5. Providing saddle and tack
6. Support with training and daily work in the stable
7. Accompanying horses to competitions, depending on experience and availability
8. General work around the sports stable

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

1. Who really enjoys working in the stable
2. Can work responsibly and independently
3. Has a good feeling for horses
4. Has an eye for detail and puts the horse’s well-being first
5. Not afraid to roll up his sleeves
6. Is flexible and enjoys working in a professional environment

Experience with horses is a plus, but certainly not required (motivation to learn is).

We believe a good working attitude and love for horses are at least as important as experience.
