Are you an enthusiastic horse lover who is looking for a valuable role in professional equestrian sport?

Steerenberg Horsetrading is looking for a motivated stable employee to join our team when we need extra hands.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of our jumping stable, where the best care for the horses is paramount. You will be deployed during busy periods, for example around competitions, auctions or holidays.

We expect a proactive attitude and good communication.

You become a crucial link in the daily ins and outs of our training stable when you are with us.

Can include your role:

1. Care and feeding our horses
2. Fabricate and sprinkle the stables
3. Putting the horses inside and outside
4. Lunging of the horses
5. Support with jumping training or competitions
6. Assisting with Hoefsmid and Veterinarian
7. Additional work on foals, young horses and breeding mares

What we are looking for in you:

1. A love for horses
2. You are flexible and available on call, or for previously agreed periods (also on the weekends)
3. A high sense of responsibility and a positive attitude
4. You live a maximum of 30 minutes from Oud-Alblas and you have your B driver’s license
