E-commerce Specialist (32 – 40 hours per week)

Who are we?

Grovet is a veterinary pharmaceutical specialist in products for the equine veterinarian. Our activities consist of (exclusive) distribution and development of veterinary medicines, (dietary) feeds and supplements for horses.

Our products are of the highest possible quality and we deliver them quickly and with a particularly high level of service to our customers. We do this from our completely new building in Soesterberg. We are a young and dynamic team, consisting of 38 enthusiastic employees. We are involved and inspire each other to continue until there is a solution. The health of the horse always comes first for us.

What are you going to do?

Webshop management: 

You are responsible for the management and optimization of our web shops (B2B and B2C). You ensure that categories, filters and search settings are logically organized and optimally contribute to the user experience and conversion.

Our website is also undergoing a complete renovation, in which you play a key role in the guidance and implementation.

Content & UX: 

You manage and optimize content such as banners and landing pages. You ensure that the webshop is attractive, user-friendly and conversion-oriented.

Marketing & promotions: 

You set up marketing campaigns and promotions within the webshop and ensure that they are implemented properly technically and visually.

Merchandising: 

You optimize cross-sell and upsell opportunities and ensure that products are presented correctly within the webshop.

SEO & conversion optimization: 

You continuously work on improving the findability and performance of the webshop through SEO and conversion optimization.

Front-end management: 

You set up the webshop per market/store view and ensure that it matches the target group and strategy.

Coordination with development: 

You are the point of contact for our website builder and are responsible for improvements, new features and optimizations.

Product information (PIM): 

You manage and optimize product information such as titles, descriptions and attributes. You determine the category structure and ensure that media (images, documents) are correctly linked. You also structure attributes and filters so that products are optimally findable.

What are we looking for?

You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position (for example e-commerce manager, product owner or PIM specialist).

  1. You have a strong affinity with e-commerce and digital optimization.
  2. You have experience with webshop management and CMS systems (for example Magento).
  3. You have knowledge of SEO and conversion optimization.
  4. You work in a structured way and are able to manage projects independently.
  5. You are analytical, proactive and continuously think about improvements.
  6. You can communicate well with different stakeholders, such as marketing and development.
  7. You have an affinity with AI and an interest in developments within artificial intelligence
  8. You have a good oral and written command of the Dutch and English language.
  9. You have completed a higher professional education, preferably in marketing or a related field of study.
  10. You are a team player, solution-oriented, flexible and have a can-do attitude
  11. Affinity with horses is a strong advantage
