About us

Equestrian club De Hoge Devel is a 5-star FNRS riding school and boarding stable. Our accommodation offers accommodation for approximately 40 riding school horses and ponies and a boarding stable with approximately 55 horses. Together with a close-knit team, we ensure the well-being of the animals, satisfied riders and well-maintained accommodation every day.

What are you going to do?

As an all-round stable employee, you and your colleagues take care of the daily ins and outs of the stable and the grounds. Your duties include:

1. Mucking out and spreading the stables (in a team); (with purple packer)
2. Feeding the horses and ponies;
3. Putting horses and ponies inside and outside / releasing them;
4. Helping and speaking to riding school clients before the start of lessons;
5. Maintenance of the roadways;
6. Cleaning and maintenance work on the site and in the canteen;
7. All other common activities that you encounter at a riding school.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a real go-getter with a heart for horses and people:

1. You have extensive experience with horses (preferably 2 to 4 years of work experience in the sector);
2. You have at least an MBO working and thinking level;
3. You are at least 21 years old;
4. You can function excellently both independently and in a team;
5. You have good social skills and are customer and animal friendly;
6. You have a flexible attitude and no 9-to-5 mentality;
7. You are available for alternating shifts (from Monday to Friday, weekends in consultation) both during the day and in the evening);
8. An ORUN diploma is an advantage.
