Account Manager Horse

Function |As a Horse Account Manager you are responsible for the advice and sale of veterinary medicines, vaccines and nutritional supplements for horses and ponies. You maintain intensive contacts with horse veterinarians, riding schools, stud farms and professionals in equestrian sports in the Netherlands. With your product and market knowledge you know how to create added value for veterinarians and horse owners. Every day you work on our strong image in the sector, you provide the right support for our customers and you know how to grow our business. You identify and analyze trends and market developments and share these with colleagues and management. You also maintain your network in the equestrian sector and regularly visit fairs, conferences and competitions in equestrian sports. Naturally, you are also closely involved in the Boehringer Intervision groups. You make your own account plans, with reliable and up-to-date administration you report to the National Sales Manager Companion Animals & Equine.

Your profile:

1. HBO working and thinking level;
2. At least 5 years of commercial work experience;
3. Experience in the veterinary or equestrian sector is an advantage;
4. Passion for horses, interest in animal health;
5. You are a networker, enterprising, ambitious and a real go-getter;
6. Excellent communication skills and strong commercial talent;
7. You can work independently and enjoy open and honest communication;
8. Good command of the Dutch and English language.
