Are you a friendly and energetic person with a passion for horses? If you like to roll up your sleeves, are enthusiastic, reliable and enjoy working in a team, then this is a great position for you!

We are looking for a stable employee (m/f) for at least 24 hours, who will help us with everything necessary for the good care of the almost 100 horses and ponies and the grounds of our 5-star FNRS company and KNHS association with approximately 550 members. Experience with horses is an advantage, love for horses is an absolute must.

Your work

As a stable employee you are indispensable in the daily care of our horses and the maintenance of the company. Your tasks include:

1. Mucking out and spreading stables;
2. Feeding horses;
3. Turning horses indoors and outdoors;
4. Cleaning the stables, the yard and (towing) the carriageways;
5. Possibly light chores or maintenance work.
6. If you have an instructor’s diploma (ORUN 2 or higher), teaching some lessons is also possible.

Who are you?

1. You are physically fit and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
2. You have experience with (dealing with) horses, or you are willing to learn this quickly.
3. You work carefully, independently and see work to be done.
4. You are reliable and enjoy working in a team.
5. Working hours are flexible, but availability on Mondays is required. mucking out
6. Availability on weekends and/or evenings (rotation with other colleagues) is necessary.

What do we offer?

1. A varied position in a dynamic working environment with a lot of interaction with colleagues and members.
2. Contract for a minimum of 24 hours per week with flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
3. Working hours are negotiable, but in any case you are expected to be available for work on Monday mornings and afternoons, Friday evenings and every other Saturday.
