Logistics Supervisor

About the role

As a Logistics Supervisor you are responsible for ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly in our distribution center in Lelystad. You ensure efficient storage, transport, distribution and inventory management, always prioritizing service levels, cost control and safety. In addition, you will be in charge of the location management of the distribution center and offices, and you will contribute to strategic projects within EMEA. This position reports to the Operations Manager EMEA and offers plenty of career opportunities within our organization.

What are you going to do?

  1. Lead and coordinate daily logistics activities: receiving, warehousing, picking, packaging and shipping.
  2. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations and audits.
  3. Coordinate domestic shipments and comply with customs and trade regulations.
  4. Monitoring transport planning, costs and performance of carriers.
  5. Ensure correct documentation such as invoices, customs declarations and shipping details.
  6. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment.
  7. Manage, train and develop logistics staff.
  8. Collaborate with production, purchasing, planning and commercial teams.
  9. Analyzing KPIs (OTIF, inventory accuracy, logistics costs) and implementing improvements.
  10. Promoting a safe working environment and compliance with HSE regulations.
  11. Supporting digitalization initiatives with ERP/WMS/TMS systems and BI tools.
  12. Initiate continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

What do you bring?

  1. Experience in logistics management, preferably in a distribution or production environment.
  2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
  3. Knowledge of ERP/WMS/TMS systems and affinity with data analysis.
  4. Good communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
  5. Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards.

OFFER

  1. Salary range from €3,500 to €4,500 gross per month based on: knowledge, skills and experience
  2. Travel allowance: €0.23 per km (min. 10 km – max. 75 km one way)
  3. Fitness allowance: €200 net per year
  4. Bicycle allowance: €300 net (1x every 3 years)
  5. 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days (CAO Metalektro)
  6. 2 training days per year

Our Supply Chain, Warehouse and Sales Organization operate from our building in Lelystad. From there we provide Excellent customer service for our customers within EMEA and we export products to our colleagues all over the world.
