Four clinics are active in the Benelux under the Altano flag: Equine Sports Medicine Practice (ESMP), Sports Medicine and Diagnostic Center (SMDC), Praktijk dr. Suls and Via Nova Equine Services in Bree (Belgium). Via Nova is a very modern horse clinic with a clientele at the top of international equestrian sports. The clinic is equipped with, among other things, an MRI and CT scan, operating rooms, 40 stables, a horse walker and extensive facilities for orthopedic examinations. Manager of Clinical Operations

Location | Bree (Belgian Limburg)

Function | As a Manager in Bree you are responsible for the daily operational management of the clinic with the aim of efficient business operations, high customer satisfaction and the right support for all employees. You will work closely with the clinic’s medical leadership team and our regional finance manager to align business financial results with strategic goals. Naturally, this also includes a number of administrative tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, accounts receivable management, purchasing, inventory management and making schedules. Colleagues know where to find you for all HR topics such as recruitment, absenteeism, training, conflict management and team development. The management of all facility matters is also in your hands and you also ensure that we work safely and in accordance with the legal rules. As a leader, you are active in the Benelux approximately two days a week where you work with the other three clinics on new initiatives, growth strategies, staff development and financial evaluations.

Your profile:

1. You are a strong leader with extensive operational management experience;
2. You have gained work experience in the veterinary, equestrian, agricultural or medical sector;
3. You have strong business insight combined with a commercial drive;
4. A Bachelor or Master in business administration, agriculture, veterinary or related;
5. Affinity with equestrian sports and understanding of – and for – the veterinary profession;
6. You are empathetic, results-oriented and know how to guide changes well;
7. Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
