The Royal Dutch Equestrian Sports Federation (KNHS) is one of the largest and most sporting, the most successful sports associations in the Netherlands. The KNHS represents the interests of the affiliated sports providers and its members, so that they can practice equestrian sport as well as possible. The organization focuses not only on sports in a competition context, but also on recreational equestrian sport. The well -being of horses plays an important role within the KNHS policy, which fulfills an exemplary role in this. Due to the nature of equestrian sport, the KNHS maintains relationships with entrepreneurs and breeding in the horse sector. The KNHS is located at the National Equestrian Center in Ermelo currently employs 75 (FTE) employees and is a dynamic organization.

Technical manager

Als Technical manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren en evalueren van het technische beleid binnen onze organisatie voor de (Para)Olympische disciplines. Je zorgt voor de inhoudelijke afstemming van programma’s, de aansluiting van competities en de integratie van topsportbeleid in het bredere organisatiebeleid. Je zorgt voor een goede en constructieve relatie met diverse partijen waaronder de FEI, EEF en NOC*NSF. Als Technical manager werk je constructief samen met en leg je verantwoording af aan de Manager Sport.

The KNHS offers
A great function in a dynamic organization. You work (hybrid) together with enthusiastic colleagues on the future of equestrian sport. An annual agreement, with the intention to eventually convert it into an agreement for an indefinite period. A gross monthly salary between € 5,478 and € 7,600 (based on 38 hours), depending on experience. We grant 24 vacation days and any age days. A laptop with homeworking accessories, a net telephone compensation and a mobility budget (gross). A good pension (50/50) and an additional health insurance allowance of € 300 gross per year, according to the Collective Labor Agreement for Sport. An individual choice budget (holiday pay & end -of -year bonus) with which you can choose between extra leave or salary and a sustainable employability budget. But above all a key role in a challenging and varied position, in which you can optimally use your talents, knowledge and experience.
Declaration of Behavior (VOG)
If you come to work with us, we will ask you for a Declaration of Behavior (VOG). When you enter the service at the KNHS, you will receive the request for digital requesting a VOG via Justis during the employment process. These costs are reimbursed by the KNHS. What does the KNHS do?
KNHS stands for the Royal Dutch Equestrian Sports Federation. We are the umbrella equestrian union in the Netherlands. The KNHS wants you to be able to ride with your horse with pleasure. Horse welfare, safety and integrity of the sport are our most important spearheads. We are there to help you with this. With expert advice, help when you need it and with different courses.
If you are a member of the KNHS, you can learn to ride a horse from qualified instructors at more than 250 FNRS-Maneges and 1,000 KNHS associations. You can ride competitions at any desired level where you are assessed by expert KNHS jury members. Every year we organize around 6,000 competitions, so plenty of choice!

The well -being of the horses is always central in our sport. We take care of research, knowledge, innovation, information, regulations and enforcement for horse -friendly equestrian sport.
We stand up for your interests
The KNHS represents 140,000 horse athletes. To ensure that you and your horse can practice the sport as well as possible, we stand up for your interests in addition to organizing the sport. This includes improving horse welfare, promoting equestrian sport, creating support for equestrian sport in politics and society, keeping open rider and men’s paths and road safety.
