Teacher Horse & Behavior

Are you passionate about horses and their natural behavior? What you are going to do

At Aeres Mbo Barneveld we train students to consciously, expert professionals in the horse sector. As a Horse & Behavior teacher you learn students to read, guide and train horses in a way that matches their natural needs and behavior. You work, among other things, according to the vision and method of e-quine by Annemarie van der Toorn.

In addition to lessons in behavior, you also teach about the horse in general: providing its basic, housing, nutrition and well -being. You do this both in theory and practical lessons. Think of topics such as toileting, braids, harrowing knowledge and much more. You let students experience what good horse management entails, with attention to detail and the larger whole.

You teach students the tricks of the profession and train them into true professionals who control and think their profession about their profession. You encourage them to discover and develop their talents and coach them in their personal growth so that they can grow into balanced young adults. You inspire them not only to develop technical skills, but also insight, patience and a sense of the animal.

What you will do further:

1. You give practical and theory lessons about natural horse behavior, based on, among other things, the method of Annemarie van der Toorn (e-Quine);
2. You guide students in learning to observe, understand and deal with horses respectfully;
3. You give practical and theory lessons about basic care, housing, nutrition and well-being;
4. You teach students practical skills such as toilet, braiding, harnessing knowledge and other parts of daily horse management;
5. You encourage students to discover their talents and develop them into conscious, balanced professionals;
6. You coach students in their personal development and contribute to their growth to confident professionals in the equestrian sector.

1. You are in possession of a second -degree authority or are willing to get it within two years;
2. You have an affinity with and interest in working with MBO students in the green domain;
3. You have relevant work experience and have an affinity with the green domain;
4. You are enthusiastic, expert, inspiring, communicative, entrepreneurial and enjoy working together;
5. You know how to motivate and coach students. You are flexible;
6. You are able to think and work by cross -curricular;
7. You want to continue to develop in the pedagogical, didactic and personal field.
