What you will do
Within the position of stable employee you are responsible for the daily care of our 30 school horses at our own Aeres Equestrian Center. As a stable employee, you not only work Monday to Friday, but also in the evenings and when necessary during the weekend.
As a stable employee you have contact with colleagues, students and trainees, but visitors can also contact you with their questions.

Aeres MBO Barneveld is a green MBO and is considered the trainer for animal training in the Netherlands. Students can choose from a complete range of animal care training courses, from paraveterinary assistant to animal care or laboratory animal caretaker.
The school is one of the largest trainers for the equestrian sector nationally, offering courses in equestrian sports and husbandry and farriery. In addition to training in animal care and horses, the school also offers training in the field of greenery, land and infrastructure (cultural contract work), dairy farming and livestock farming of caged animals.
Numerous animal species live on campus and there are many practical facilities. Aeres MBO Barneveld has had a zoo license since 2017 and also wants to become accessible to the general public. In addition to the zoo license, Aeres MBO Barneveld uses the Aeres Equestrian Center with more than 30 of its own school (sports) horses.
