You will be enthusiastic about recording the daily operation of our 4* FNRS riding school located next to the beautiful nature reserve “De Broekpolder” in Vlaardingen. You are an accessible person for the members of our riding school and her partners.

Die Flardingha Ruiters is an association that has been around since 1949. Our association was founded by a number of local farmers who started on the land of Chardon in Vlaardingen. Years later they moved to Broekpolderweg 251 in Vlaardingen where we are celebrating our 75th anniversary this year. Flardingha goes along with her time and attaches importance to sustainability.
Our association is supported by many fantastic sponsors and volunteers. Think of the canteen team, the feeding team and the DIY team. There is a lively activity and competition committee.
In addition to our 374 members’ own horses and ponies, the association has aspiring riding school ponies. Children can learn to pony ride on this. We also regularly organize FNRS, Mutual and KNHS competitions and KNHS competitions.
We have room for 95 horses and ponies. Our association itself has 17 riding school ponies that are used daily for, for example, dressage and jumping lessons. In addition, we have sufficient facilities with which the horses can be cared for and foreseen throughout the year (including 6 hectares of pasture land for grazing in the spring and summer).

P> Within the position of manager you are the pivot of the organization. You are responsible for performing the daily operation and you manage employees: stable staff, administration and instructors, total 10 employees and trainees. You guarantee safety, customer satisfaction and respect for norms, values and rules within our association and report directly to the board.
Tasks and responsibilities
● Implementation of policy and managing staff.
● Daily coordination and feedback on staff functioning.
● Organization of events in collaboration with committees and administration.
● Maintaining and managing the sites and riding facilities, including stables, lanes, paddocks and storage rooms.
● Financial administration and reporting, including budget management and purchasing.
● Being the point of contact for members and guaranteeing the rules of conduct.

We are a 4* FNRS riding school with pony lessons and boarding facilities next to the beautiful Broekpolder nature reserve in Vlaardingen. This location gives you the opportunity to use unique exit options in the nature reserve. The riding path for the outdoor ride starts directly behind our riding school.
