As Manager at Manege Zonder Drempels you have a responsible role at the heart of this special social organization. You are responsible for the implementation of the foundation’s annual plan, evaluate it with the board and make adjustments where necessary. The primary area of ​​focus is to develop and bond with relationships with a strong external focus. In addition, an important pillar is future-proof business operations, so that the foundation can continue to achieve its primary goal in the long term: offering fun and relaxation to people with multiple disabilities. As a (senior) Manager you can shape future plans at a strategic level and help shape this in your daily executive work.

We see the following tasks and responsibilitiescombined in this role;

  1. You are a culture bearer of the riding school. The warm, loving atmosphere exists and you are enthusiastic that all this will continue to shine
  2. You are the spider in the web of management, employees, volunteers, clients, parents and caregivers, business and private relations.
  3. You are responsible for personnel and volunteer policy. The foundation employs 12 permanent employees and also has a group of more than 45 volunteers. Team building is a permanent part. You have sufficient distance to shape leadership in the organization. You give initiatives space and facilitate them with sufficiently targeted delegation by also further developing the network and committee working method.
  4. ·Actively marketing covered bed riding and apartment rental
  5. You initiate and maintain external relationships, for example with municipalities and the business community. You actively draw attention to the foundation and develop policy for, and implement, future-proof financing of the foundation;
  6. You are the operational manager of business operations, report periodically to the board, are responsible for progress reporting (including finances), personnel administration and contribute ideas in the field of marketing, relationship management and PR activities.
  7. You are proud of what exists and focused on improving and innovating. Ensuring support for changes is also part of your task.
  8. You make good coordination with the board the annual plan for the following year

You are able to connect with (parents or caregivers of) clients, with colleagues, with the board and with external parties.

You are able to help determine policy, but above all also implement it in daily practice. You are the initiator on a number of projects in the annual plan. With this combination you are able to let the foundation do what it does best, now and in the future: putting a smile on the faces of people with multiple disabilities!

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

  1. You have at least HBO working and thinking level;
  2. You preferably have experience in healthcare or a foundation with a comparable size and social context ;
  3. You have at least five years of managerial experience;
  4. In-depth knowledge of horses and years of experience with them is an advantage
  5. Knowledge and insight into financial business operations;
  6. Also structured in organizing a wide range of daily work, finance and administration and a strong sense of responsibility for safety including laws and regulations.
  7. You are organizationally strong, have good communication skills, are motivating, enthusiastic, can listen well and collaborate facilitate. You are clear and consistent;
  8. Has and develops great involvement in the work of the riding school and is prepared to adjust working hours accordingly
  9. You are able to distinguish main and secondary issues and prioritize in close consultation with the environment and board.
  10. You are available 24 – 32 hours a week.
